Sustainable Technologies
This section is designed as a resource for missionaries, farmers, volunteers, and anyone interested in living more sustainably. We plan to cover many topics here; sources of seed, water pumping, composting, water filtration, low cost housing, alternate fuels, micro-enterprises, etc. In the near future we will developing small farm equipment (flour mill, corn sheller, thresher, peanut sheller, etc.) that can be bicycle powered as well as operated by the Empower-train farm vehicle. So please check back often. We welcome others to send information they feel is important to share with our "World-Community".
Sustaining Technology Kit
One kit can be used by a whole village to filter water, improve farming practices, save and sell seeds, process flour and nut butters.
Kits are transportable as checked baggage in two 5 gallon pails.
Filter up to 170 gallons per day.

Biological Filtration: 99.99999% of all bacteria like salmonella, cholera, E. coli. and 99.9999% of all Protozoa such
as Giardia and Cryptosporidium. You will find these removal rates to equal or exceed competitive options. EPA guidelines
allow ten times more Protozoa left in the water than we allow.
Viral Purification: The first and thus far only portable filtration device to physically remove viruses. Which it does
at a 99.9997% rate exceeding EPA and NSF recommendations.
